Dubai Gold Souq

I am excited to announce that I will be heading off to Dubai on May 29th to sit, observe and learn as much as I can from expert diamond setters and goldsmiths! My supplier there is so nice and he has welcomed me to come and experience Indian/Middle Eastern style jewelry in his shop. The studio is tiny and jam packed with jewelers from India that have been trained for several years under their fathers and grandfathers…no one has had formal training at schools, like me :) I hope to absorb as much as I can and ask many questions and have hopefully come back with some great experience, techniques, tips and tricks, and some new base pieces to mold!!

I will be away May 29th to July 5th. Once I am back I have a wedding to attend that week and should be back to work in full swing by July 12/13th.  I will have access to Internet daily so please feel free to contact me. I will be working on listing a few new items before I leave.

New Designer Discovery – Jacquie Aiche

I thought I would feature one of my newly discovered and currently most favorite jewelry designer! Jacquie Aiche is amazing! I love the use of organic and natural gemstones in her work. Very inspirational and unique.

Etsy Shop Update

New Blog Theme

Finally after many days of not posting….I was working on learning a little css so I can modify themes to my personal tastes! It was fun and I am still going to make improvements as I learn more detailed programming but for now I am happy!

I want to share some pictures of some new items coming in the next few weeks. I have been trying to work on developing my own personal style. Hopefully I can come up with some good designs and finished products to list soon.

New Cabochon Stacking Rings

I think I am done with the cabochon stacking rings. Tomorrow I will start working with some sapphire rose cuts and try out some new design ideas I have for some cute necklaces and earrings!

New Etsy Shop

Here is a link to my new shop! I am continuing to study jewelry design (mostly on my own with some guidance from my PMC teacher). In the next couple weeks I am going to be experimenting with gemstones, cabochons and some raw diamonds! Come back and visit :)

Sample Work-Jewelry

I have been slowly building up a collection of fine and sterling silver pieces to list on a new etsy shop. What is left to decide is a shop name, theme for the photographs and a banner.
