Walrus Ivory Ring

Here is a sneak peak at a ring I made for myself! I will post some pictures once its completed along with 2 versions in silver with black diamonds and with mixed color brownish diamonds. There will be a piece of very special walrus ivory in the center.

Tambuli Rose Cut Diamond

Here is the batch of tambuli rose cuts. They are completely natural in color and have beautiful gem like colors. Unlike the traditional rose cut the tambuli diamonds have a higher dome.

These diamonds were hand selected for their unique colors. I love the pale yellows, oranges and deep browns. Perfect colors for the fall season.

And since I could not resist I ordered a small batch of 1-2mm tambuli for some very tiny stacking rings or bangles and a few more diamond slices!! I will post these when I have some pictures from my supplier and details will follow on my website!

Sapphires

As much as I love diamonds I also have a soft spot for sapphires. They come in every color under the rainbow! The white sapphires can look just as great, sometimes better, than diamonds when set to be worn as a solitaire.

These are new sapphires that will be arriving in a few weeks! I am looking for some fancy cuts like marquise and heart. I have some special bezels on order to set these fancy stones in!! All in sterling silver too…

Diamond Slice Ring

My first diamond slice ring in 14K white gold. It was a struggle to create this piece because of the brittle nature of white gold…maybe the solder I was using was not good quality or something because it kept pitting. I used a good flux, strong enough flame and pieces were clean of dirt…..any suggestions or tips on soldering white gold without it cracking later would be helpful for my next attempt!
