Sapphire Lens

Remember the diamond shaker ring from a few posts ago? Here is a petite version of that ring! I will set tiny (1-2mm) fancy color rough diamonds (blue, green, yellow, orange, champagne, white and pink!) into these tiny bezels and cover them with real sapphire lens!

It will be a very limited product with only 50 being made. The band will be slim and set around the bezel so its a flush fit to the hand. They can still be layered quite nicely however due to the tiny size.

These rings will be part of a crystal collection which will also include diamond entrusted vials holding sapphires or rough diamonds! These are extremely limited with only 2-4 pieces being made. I will be posting these in my shop next week.

Fancy Color Diamonds

I love colored diamonds. I just ordered some tiny stones from my supplier in shades of warmer colors this time. I lalready have a set of cool color rings in silver but these ones will be set in gold!

Working Hard

In this tough economy starting a new business venture may not sound like a good thing to do but I think that all the creative people out there should give it a go! If you have a product or idea that you think may bring some benefit to people then it should be shared 🙂 I am working extra hard on the business end of things since sales are slow but its been a fun learning experience.

Here is a picture of my first custom order, hope she likes it!

Rose Cut Diamond Stacking Rings

Finished some of the stacking rings last night and listed them on etsy! Some of the bezels were damaged so I will have to repair them. I love the look of all the rings stacked together and surprisingly they feel very light and are comfortable to wear!

Lots of Stacking Rings

I spent literally the whole day creating many bezels, rings and settings. It was a great learning experience for me especially since I am self taught. I really want to learn how to set tiny stones both round and non round! One project I failed today was soldering the rose gold filled bands. I will be re-attempting that tomorrow!!

Fab Finds

These beautiful little pear shaped diamonds are full of fire and are in great shades of yellow, grey and white! I have no idea how to bezel set these yet but I am definitely going to try! A traditional claw setting would not be too bad either but bezel setting these and creating some delicate stacking rings would be great!

New Cabochon Stacking Rings

I think I am done with the cabochon stacking rings. Tomorrow I will start working with some sapphire rose cuts and try out some new design ideas I have for some cute necklaces and earrings!

Rose Cut Diamonds

I love wearing rings in slim stacks, both plain and with gemstones. I am working on improving my skills at soldering slim rings out of gold filled and sterling silver wire. I am trying many different combinations of styles to come up with something unique. This week I am finishing up the cabochon stack rings and next week I get to work with some gorgeous rose cut diamonds I am getting from India! They will be in various sizes and shapes…I will share some pictures of the goods with you!
